AZ can’t stop winning. The team of trainer Pascal Jansen did need a wake-up call against Go Ahead Eagles for the twelve victory in the last thirteen official duels: 1-4.

The amusing first half was full of mistakes and that resulted in four goals. Luuk Brouwers took care of the surprising 1-0 for Go Ahead after 25 minutes, which reached the semi-finals of the cup tournament this week at the expense of NEC. Fortunately, Brouwers got the ball after a bad cross by Cuco Martina.

However, the joy in De Adelaarshorst was short-lived. Sam Beukema from Deventer, who came over from Go Ahead in the summer, headed in the 1-1 from a corner from Jesper Karlsson.
