Badminton will live this weekend a sporting event in style. Specifically, it is the Liga Nacional de Clubs Primera Nacional ‘B’, which will be played in the José Antonio Segura pavilion with the visit of different clubs at the national and Andalusian level.
Specifically, on Saturday, February 26, at 11:00 a.m., a league day of the team competition in the absolute category will be held. These matches are played on a seven-game basis: a mixed doubles, a men’s double and a women’s double. Meanwhile, two men’s singles and two women’s will be played.
Thus, the Almería pavilion will bring together eight teams that are CB Mercapinturas Almería, Huesca La Magia B, CB Cartagena, AD and C Arroyo Tejada, B Astures, CDB Huelva, CB Rinconada Sevilla B and CB Soria.
The Almería City Council, through the Municipal Sports Board, collaborates in this event in which around 80 badminton players will participate, where their level on the court will be demonstrated. Admission is free and all those interested can come to send their support to the Mercapinturas Badminton Club.
The team from Almería will play their match on Saturday at 11:00 am against CDB Huelva and at 4:00 pm against CB Soria. At the moment, the two games played in the league have been won by the club from the capital and they are leaders with a tie on points with four teams in the classification.
The emotion is served and the sport can be seen at its highest level in the pavilion that will comply with all the security measures so that the meetings are held safely and will dress up to support the Almerian people in their National League match.
