Basketball: Nba, Gallinari’s Hawks ko at home against San Antonio

Atlanta, Feb 12 – Away success for San Antonio (21-35) who won 136-121 in Atlanta (26-29). The Spurs, one of the worst NBA teams when it comes to shooting from the arc, find a super evening in terms of realization against the bad Hawks defense, closing with 18/32 from the arc and 55.6% from the field (50/90) and overwhelming Atlanta at home despite the 18 points and 11 assists of a Trae Young swept off the court (-30 plus / minus) like all the rest of the starting five.

The absolute protagonist of the success of the Texans is Dejounte Murray, author of 32 points and 15 assists (both career highs equaled), to which he also adds 10 rebounds thus completing the eleventh triple double of the season and the fifteenth in his career – overtaking David Robinson as all-time record holder in San Antonio history. Excellent performance also for a Keldon Johnson with 26 points and 6/8 from the arc, while there are 20 made by Devin Vassell (+40 plus / minus in 28 minutes on the court).

One of the very few to escape in the bad Hawks evening is Danilo Gallinari – member of a second-unit that partially puts Atlanta back on track: for the blue number 8 there are 16 points with 4/11 shooting, 9 rebounds and a winning pass. Unlike the group of owners, he closed with +12 plus / minus – little consolation for a team that remains in 10th place in the East.
