Basketball Tournament 3×3 Day of Andalusia

The event is part of a wide program of sports promotion activities developed by the HE Provincial Council and the CB Almería. This tournament was going to be held last Christmas, but was postponed due to the rise in the Covid incidence and as a preventive measure before the Christmas dates. On a special day such as February 28, a holiday Monday for the day of the Andalusian community, this attractive 3×3 basketball tournament is resumed.

At Moises Ruiz Pavilion Boys and girls from the pre-minibasket, mini-basket, children’s, cadet and junior categories will meet to spend a fun day of basketball, where there will be trophies and medals for the first two classified teams in each category.

In addition, among all the participants a scholarship will be raffled to play in CB Almeria the 2022/23 season and various gifts will be distributed.

The activity will take place from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28in the morning and afternoon (according to the number of registered teams) with the organization of CB Almería and the Almería Provincial Council.

It is a good opportunity to continue playing sports and basketball also on non-teaching dates and collaborate in this solidarity action where all the participants will be able to donate non-perishable food for those most in need. These foods will be collected on the day of the competition in the organization area and will be distributed by various associations and entities that care for disadvantaged groups in Almería.

The goal is ambitious collect 1,000 kg. food that will alleviate the needs of disadvantaged groups. From here we call on all participants and also non-participants to stop by the Moisés Ruiz Sports Pavilion (Crta. de Níjar, next to the Bola Azul medical center) on Monday, February 28. and collaborate with this cause.
