Basketball U-16 Men’s Regional Championship Concludes in Malatya

The 2021-2022 U-16 Men’s 5th Region Malatya Basketball Championship, organized by the Turkish Basketball Federation, recently concluded in Malatya, Turkey.

The four-day tournament, held at the Tecde Sports Hall, saw fierce competition among 14 teams representing a diverse range of provinces across southeastern Turkey. These included teams from Batman, Adıyaman, Tunceli, elazığ, Bitlis, Mardin, Siirt, Şanlıurfa, adn Şırnak, showcasing the widespread passion for basketball in the region.

Emerging victorious from the intense final rounds where Malatya Yıldızlar Youth, Tunceli Dersim Gelişimspor, Diyarbakır Kayapınar Municipality Youth A Team, and Batman Eğitimspor. These talented young athletes will now advance to the Anatolian Regions Semi-Finals, where they will face off against other top teams from across turkey.
