Jamal Musiala (turns 19 on Saturday) is the top candidate to replace Thomas Müller (32), who has contracted Corona for the second time. Trainer Julian Nagelsmann (34): “Jamal trained extremely well on Thursday, very committed, very fresh, very lively, tactically good – I liked that.”
Musiala, who himself has just come out of quarantine, may not be able to play through.
Nagelsmann: “He’s still a little behind in training, but Jamal is still a young person who can go beyond the point of tiredness.”
After there had been rumblings in the dressing room after three weak appearances because of the extremely offensive tactics, Nagelsmann was now open to suggestions from his stars: “The opinion of my players is very, very important to me.
