Full throttle, goals, Zoff – that’s how a top game should be!

Bayern wins a spectacular game against Leipzig 3-2 in front of 10,000 fans and moves on to the top of the table. The 90-minute roller coaster ride without a break!

12 minutes: Gulacsi makes a strong save from a Lewandowski shot. But Müller is spot on as always and takes the dust – 1-0 for Bayern!

Miller millers again! The national player scores in the second game in a row. During the week he noted in SPORT BILD that the Bayern bosses have not yet spoken to him about his contract, which expires in 2023. Newcastle and Everton already have their eye on Müller.

Now the goal announcement to the Bayern bosses!

Club boss Oliver Kahn (52) on Sky: “We’re not all going to have panic attacks here. It’s now about the Bundesliga and the Champions League. We will find a reasonable date when we can start talking to each other.”

Leipzig also has a say on the pitch!

27 minutes: Leipzig counters via Nkunku and Laimer, who chips the ball to the back post. There, Silva pokes him in from an acute angle. Compensation for RB!

Silva blossoms under Domenico Tedesco (36)! The Portuguese made his sixth goal in the seventh competitive game under the new coach. In 20 under predecessor Jesse Marsch (48) there were just four.

After that, Leipzig is lucky! Müller heads the supposed 2:1 (36th), but the goal is disallowed. Rightly so – Lewandowski had fouled Gvardiol in the formation. While referee Jablonski (31) checks the scene, there’s Zoff on the sidelines! Bavaria’s sports director Salihamidzic clashes with Leipzig-Bank – probably because he rates the Lewandowski foul differently.

Generally striking: Bayern are very tense – off and on the pitch.

► Coach Julian Nagelsmann (34) is always upset and is apparently particularly motivated against his former club. In addition, his tactics with only three central defenders (Hernandez, Süle, Pavard) and very offensive wingers (Coman, Gnabry) don’t really work. Bayern, who are totally open at the back, always allow 100% Leipzig chances.

► Robert Lewandowski (33) shows his frustration again and again when there are no crosses at him. As in the 4-1 win at Hertha, where the super striker did not score for the first time in four league games.

But both still have reason to celebrate! Coman crosses to Lewandowski, who heads against Gulacsi’s direction to make it 2-1 (44′). This time it counts!

Take a deep breath in a crazy game – then it’s full throttle! First Nkunku completed a Leipzig counterattack to make it 2-2 (53rd), then Bayern hit back again. Gvardiol deflects a Gnabry cross into his own goal – 3:2 Bayern (58th)!

The record champion saves the lead over time. Can watch on the couch on Sunday whether Dortmund will follow suit against Leverkusen. With 310 Bundesliga victories, Manuel Neuer (35) is also drawing level with the previous record holder Oliver Kahn

Despite a courageous performance, Leipzig missed the leap to a place in the Champions League and lost its first game in 2022. Tedesco’s Bayern curse remains: he failed to win any of his five games against the record champions.
