The Indonesian women’s team lifts the 2022 Asian Team Championship trophy at the Setia City Convention Center, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, Sunday (20/2/2022)
BOLASPORT.COM – The opportunity to compete in the 2022 Asian Team Championships brought an increase in the rankings for most of the Indonesian team players.
The 2022 Asian Team Championship is made by PBSI (Indonesian Badminton Association) as a stage for young players and back-up players to show off.
Even though it is made up of young players, Indonesia was able to bring home a sweet result from the 2022 Asian Team Championships.
The women’s team made history after winning the Asian Team Championship for the first time.

As for the men’s team to be runner-up. They only lost to the home team, Malaysia, which appeared as a full team.
The ranking was also experienced by a number of Indonesian players thanks to their struggle in the 2022 Asian Doubles Championship.
The significant increase was especially experienced by players who are still outside the top 100 rankings.
The most extreme was Saifi Rizka Nurhidayah who rose 185 positions to rank 587 in the BWF (Badminton World Federation) world ranking update for the 8th week of 2022.
