REPUBLIC OF BOBOTOH – After canceling the match against PSM Makassar in the 2021-2022 League 1 continuation, last Wednesday 2 February, three players left the Persib Bandung team today, Thursday 3 February 2022.
The three players are Bayu M Fiqri, Kakang Rudianto, and Beckham Putra Nugraha. They were called by Shin Tae-yong to attend the AFF U-23 Cup: Okezone Bola”>Indonesia U-23 national team training camp ahead of the 2022 AFF U-23 Cup.
The three of them will attend a training camp with 26 other players in Bali, starting today, Thursday 3 February 2022.
This program aims to face the AFF U-23 Cup which will take place in Cambodia this February.
The Indonesian U-23 players will receive a week-long training program in Bali before leaving for Cambodia on February 10, 2022.
“We hope that with good preparation, the Indonesian national team can win the 2022 AFF U-23 Cup. With these players who are called on and always work hard, disciplined and focused, PSSI is confident that this will be achieved,” said PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan quoted from the official website of the federation.
PSSI is committed to continuing to support coach Shin Tae-yong’s training program for the achievement of the Indonesian national team.
“We also advise all players and officials to always maintain progress while in Bali,” he added.
The Indonesian U-23 National Team will take part in the 2022 AFF U-23 Cup tournament in Cambodia on 14-26 February 2022.
Garuda Muda joined in Group B with Malaysia, Myanmar and Laos, in the tournament.
In preparation for the tournament, Shin summoned 29 players who would be attending the training camp (TC) in Bali.
A number of players who had strengthened the senior national team in the match against Timor Leste, were again called Shin Tae-yong.
They include Alfeandra Dewangga, Pratama Arhan, to Marselino Ferdinand and Ronaldo Kwateh.
In addition, there are also new names such as Kakang Rudianto, who just scored a goal in his debut match at Persib Bandung.
However, Kakang is not the only time he has received a call to the national team. He previously also defended the U-18 national team.
