Tomorrow Thursday February 24 is organized at the gymnasium of the college of Castanet-Tolosan, between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., a Bad and Handicaps plateau. An appointment placed under the sign of discovery and awareness.
Workshops, matches, and discussions: this is the program of the Badminton event which will take place on February 24 at the college gymnasium in Castanet-Tolosan. Organized by the Ligue Occitanie de Badminton and the Badminton Club de Castanet, the day aims to bring together valid and invalid people around the same sport. “Participants will be able to swap shuttlecocks together, and to better understand the difficulty of physical disability, able-bodied people will be able to try out various accessories that simulate reduced mobility or sensory disability,” explains the club in particular.
For this free entry event, all audiences are welcome. People with physical or mental disabilities, able-bodied people, badminton graduates or not.
As for the announced participants, several rehabilitation centers have already ensured their presence, as well as the leaders and employees of the League and the Castanet club.
