Charleroi authorizes 1,000 visiting supporters for the Walloon clash, Standard not yet

This Sunday, three months after the match stopped at Sclessin where Charleroi led 0-3, Liégeois and Carolos will meet at Mambourg for a return leg which already smells of sulfur. Meeting this Monday, the City of Charleroi, the police and the Carolingian club have reached an agreement so that Liège supporters can be present in the visitor’s stand.

This agreement was taken on the basis of the presence of a maximum of 20 buses, i.e. around 1,000 people. Each ticket put on sale must imperatively be linked to a clearly identified person. But the situation is not yet final and could change by Thursday.

Depending on any excesses on Wednesday evening during Standard – Beerschot, the Liège club, which is responsible for its own away supporters, reserves the right to ban its fans from Sunday’s match.
