Hot file for FIFA. Following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the Football Federation of the Czech Republic announced this Sunday that it refuses to face Sbornaya in the play-off match at the 2022 World Cup. After Poland (see here) and Sweden (see here), it is therefore the three potential opponents of Russia in the play-offs who have just said no.
The Tsars must first face Poland on March 24, then, in the event of qualification, the winner of Sweden – Czech Republic on March 29.
ℹ️ VV FAČR unanimously approved the decision that the Czech national team in the bottom case in the qualification bar MS 2022 will not embark on a possible match against the conquest of Russia.
