A Day of Sport and Community at Tenuta Ippocrate
Mark yoru calendars for Saturday, February 26th! Weather permitting, the ASD-APS “Bio-Performance by Tenuta Ippocrate” is hosting a special afternoon dedicated to sports, community, and inclusivity. This exciting event, aptly named “Come inTenuta … Sportiva!”, is a collaborative effort with several ASDs and APS organizations, including “Avalon”, “FreeCompany”, “Pet Island”, “AMI-Accademia motociclistica Italiana”, “Hobby Model RC”, and “Arcobaleno”. The event is also supported by the ASI Zonal Committee.
Held at the picturesque Tenuta Ippocrate park in Bosco Magliano, Montefredane, this open-to-all event will provide a fantastic chance to experience a variety of sporting activities. Attendees can try their hand at disciplines like gymnastics, archery, soft-air, dog training, model building, handball, volleyball, badminton, and more.This event serves as a stepping stone towards the creation of a vibrant sports village at the estate.
“This is a wonderful opportunity,” states Giovanni Esposito,head of sports policies for the Zonal committee,”that beautifully intertwines the values of sport with those of social connection and empathy.” Lucio Cecere, vice president of the Committee, expresses gratitude to the ASDs and APSs for their contributions to the event.
Ettore de Conciliis,president of the zonal Committee,highlights the Committee’s commitment to fostering a strong sense of community among its affiliates,emphasizing their dedication to promoting sports in a holistic manner.He also extends his thanks to the management of Tenuta Ippocrate for their generous hospitality, noting that the estate’s renowned hospitality now extends to the realm of sports and social progress.
Should inclement weather occur, the event will be postponed to a later date.
‘Come inTenuta…Sportiva!’: A Slam Dunk for Community Sports?

Isabella: I think it’s incredibly beneficial. Exposing people, especially young people, to a range of disciplines helps them discover hidden passions. You never know, the next archery champion might just stumble upon their talent while trying out soft-air!
Moderator: that’s a fantastic point. The organizers clearly aim for inclusivity, collaborating with various ASDs and APS organizations. Do you see this collaborative approach as crucial for the success of grassroots sports initiatives?
Isabella:
Without a doubt. Teamwork is essential in sports, and it extends beyond the playing field. Thes organizations pooling their resources and expertise creates a strong foundation for a thriving sporting community. It shows a real commitment to making sports accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience.
