Daniil Medvedev calls for peace in the world “in the name of the children”.

“Today I want to speak on behalf of all the children of this world,” wrote Medvedev. “They all have their dreams, their life has just begun. So many beautiful experiences are yet to come. First friends, first great emotions. Everything they see and feel is for the first time in their lives.”

The 26-year-old continued: “That’s why I ask for peace in the world, for peace between countries. Children are born with an inner trust in the world. They believe in everything: in people, in love, in security and in justice the opportunities in their lives.”

He finally asked: “Let’s show together that that’s true. Because no child should have to stop dreaming.”
