Ikaunieks left the field in the 85th minute, when the result was already 1: 1.
In the 54th minute, Michael Rabušics put the home team in the lead with a penalty of 11 meters, but Jablonec played in the 77th minute after the exact broadcast of Mihala Čerņāk.
In the Czech championship “Jablonec” with 21 points in 22 matches takes 12th place in the competition of 16 teams.
The 27-year-old Ikaunieks returned to the Czech club at the beginning of the year.
In the summer of 2018, the striker moved to the Jablonec team, which made his UEFA Europa League group debut next season. In the same year, Ikaunieks was recognized as the best football player in Latvia.

Raivis Ikaunieks, the Latvian striker known for his tenacity and goal-scoring prowess, has seen his fair share of ups and downs in his football career.After a stint away from Jablonec, he returned to the Czech club at the start of this year. We sat down with raivis to discuss his comeback and his thoughts on Jablonec’s recent draw with Slovan Liberec.
Moderator: Welcome back, Raivis. it’s great to have you here. You had a successful return to Jablonec,gracing the pitch against Slovan Liberec. Tell us, how does it feel to be back playing for the club?
raivis Ikaunieks: Thanks for having me. It feels great to be back wearing the Jablonec jersey. This club holds a special place in my heart. We had some incredible moments together, especially during my first stint here, and I’m eager to contribute to the team’s success onc again.
Moderator: Jablonec drew 1-1 with Slovan Liberec. It was a tightly contested match. From yoru viewpoint on the field, what where the key moments of the game?
Raivis Ikaunieks: It was a tough match, as was to be expected. Slovan is a strong side, and they definitely put us under pressure. Rabušics’ penalty gave them a deserved lead, but we never gave up. Mihals Čerņāks’ equalizer was a crucial moment, showing our fighting spirit.
Moderator: you were substituted in the 85th minute with the score tied. Were you disappointed to come off at that stage?
Raivis Ikaunieks: of course, every player wants to be out there until the final whistle, but I understood the coach’s decision. We were battling hard, and he probably wanted to bring on fresh legs to try and snatch a win.
Moderator: Jablonec currently sits in 12th place in the Czech league. What are your aspirations for the remainder of the season?
Raivis Ikaunieks: Our goal is to climb up the table and secure a respectable finish. There are still many games left, and we have the quality to make a push. We need to focus on consistency and stringing together positive results.
Moderator: Looking back on your career, your time with Jablonec saw you experience the UEFA Europa League, a major highlight for any footballer. Can you talk about your memories of that competition?
Raivis Ikaunieks: That Europa League campaign was truly special. To represent Jablonec on the European stage was a privilege. The atmosphere in those matches was incredible, and we faced some tough opponents. It was a great learning experience.
Moderator: You also received the prestigious honor of being named Latvia’s best footballer in 2018. How did that achievement shape your career?
Raivis Ikaunieks: It was a tremendous honor. Being recognized as the best player in your country is a dream for any footballer. It definitely boosted my confidence and motivation.
Moderator: What advice would you give to young Latvian footballers aspiring to reach the professional level?
Raivis Ikaunieks: Hard work,dedication,and believing in yourself are crucial.Never give up on your dreams, even when faced with challenges.
