Bob Saget died in his hotel room on January 9, 2021 at the age of 65. The medical examiner’s report has just been revealed. A neurosurgeon explained to the New York Times that the injury of the actor could have been caused by a baseball bat… A testimony which seems to distance the thesis from the accident.
The Hollywood universe is mourning one of its legends. On January 9, Bob Saget died at the age of 65. He was found unresponsive in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. He had just finished a stand-up show and had to present others. Known as the patriarch Danny Tanner in House Party, the actor was adored by all his fans. His sudden disappearance shocked all his relatives. And if until now, the causes of his death were still quite mysterious, the report of the medical examiner has just fallen, causing more questions than answers. According to an autopsy report released Thursday by Orange County Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Stephany, the actor fell backwards and struck the back of his head. His death was ruled an accident without suspicion of foul play. He was also positive for Covid-19 when he died, although that played no part in his disappearance, Joshua Stephany’s report added.
However, Dr. Gavin Britz, chief of neurosurgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, is quite puzzled by this report. “It’s a major trauma“, he told the New York Times, before adding: “It’s something that we could find with someone who has been beaten with a baseball bat to the heador who fell 20 or 30 meters.” The doctor also assured that Bob Saget’s fractures were not only generalized, but “that they were located in particularly thick parts of his skull.” A testimony that can imply the worst.

A planned criminal act?
This neurosurgeon is far from alone in questioning the accidental cause of the beloved actor’s death. “It’s really strange. One questions the thoroughness of the initial investigationtweeted Byron York, chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner. For his part, attorney Richard Signorelli suggested there may have been foul play involved in the death of Bob Saget, although investigators ruled it was an accident. “No fault found. Something doesn’t make sense given his serious head injuries“, he shared on Twitter. Doubts are allowed, but at this stage, it is unlikely that the family of the actor will get more answers.
