Anders Antonsen and Line Kjærsfeldt won with significant figures, while Amalie Magelund and Mathias Thyrri won the only one of Friday’s semi-finals in three sets.

Line Christophersen played a step closer to her third DM title in a row when she won her semi-final at the VICTOR DM 2022 over Julie Dawall on Friday. A repeat of last year’s DM final.

Anders Antonsen is approaching a fourth Danish Championship title when he beat last year’s Danish Championship finalist Rasmus Messerschmidt with convincing figures.

The defending winner in men’s singles, Victor Svendsen, also had to be beaten when Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus won in two sets.

– I am very happy with my performance. I’m obviously really happy with the win, but I think I played at a really high level. There were problems along the way, but I feel like I kept my head really cold, and I kept finding myself back to some of the right things, so I think my discipline was good, says Vittinghus.

Amalie Magelund and Mathias Thyrri were in trouble in their semi-final against the surprise Jesper Toft and Clara Graversen, but the second-seeded pair got the match closed in three sets. More convincing were first-seeded Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje, who probably won in two sets over Natasja P. Anthonisen and Mads Vestergaard.

In men’s doubles, there was a close showdown in one semifinal. Second-seeded Frederik Søgaard and Daniel Lundgaard won the first set over third-seeded Mathias Thyrri and Lasse Mølhede after rebounds, while the victory in the second set was somewhat greater.

The finals begin Saturday at 2 p.m.
