Excellent year of the century
A new vintage of “Dom Pérignon“, “Dom Pérignon Rose 2008” has been announced. The release date is early March. The price is 48,290 yen. Sold at major department stores and other stores nationwide.
In 2008, the Champagne region was hit by lack of sunshine and low temperatures in spring and summer, embodying the intensity of the continental climate. In September, the weather improved with fine weather and wind, resulting in high-contrast ripening grapes. Many producers called it a “miracle,” and 2008 was a special year for wine rubber.
The delicate berry notes are alive and well, and the violet-based bouquet has a slight scent throughout. The silky texture and energetic and fresh acidity make you feel the potential of 2008 grapes.
Retail sales are scheduled for March, but bottles will be available at partner restaurants in February. Check it out if you want to try it as soon as possible.
