Paredes, a native of Hermosillo Sonora, was born on February 18, 1999, bats and shoots on the right side. His Major League debut came with the Detroit Tigers during the 2020 season, when he was just 21 years old.
Within the Mexican Pacific League (LMP) he held his first meetings in the 2018-2019 edition with Yaquis de Obregón, passing in the 2020-21 campaign to the port with Venados de Mazatlán, where he achieved the batting leadership with an average of .379 , numbers that led him to wear the Mexican uniform in the Caribbean Series that same year.
