The emeritense canoeist Estefanía Fernández has started the season getting two gold medals, in the first Judex regatta held in Alange and in Castilla-La Mancha in K1 5,000 meters.
“I feel satisfied with myself, I carry in my backpack new experiences, learnings and values that make me great inside. I appreciate what continues and is maintained every day, we must never stop fighting for our dreams”, she commented after the good start to the season.
Estefanía Fernández also wanted to show her gratitude to the Diputación de Badajoz, the Clínica Diana, 4 Life and the Fundación Jovenes y Deporte de la Junta de Extremadura for the support received.
The emeritense has started the season with some changes and very clear objectives. His calendar will take him to participate on March 6 in the Extremadura Championship, which will be held in Proserpina. Another important event is the Spanish Winter Championship, which takes place on March 19 and 20 in Seville; a victory in the national would give him a direct pass to the World Championship in the United States, while second place would qualify him for the European Championship in the Czech Republic.
