Ander UEFA, Italy has made a wish. The country, which won Euro 2020 football, has expressed its interest in organizing this competition in 2032, the Italian Football Federation (FA) announced on Monday (February 7th). “The Italian Football Federation has in recent days informed UEFA of its interest in hosting Euro 2032,” the FA said in a statement. She cited in support of her approach her desire to modernize Italian stadiums and build new ones.
This announcement comes as the deadline for submitting expressions of interest to UEFA is set for March 23 and the deadline for submitting final applications for applications is April 2023. Last summer Rome hosted four matches of the Euro 2020 and Italy already hosted the European football competition in 1968 and 1980.
