Excitement is building in Mexico city as young judokas prepare for the upcoming CDMX Children’s,Youth and Paralympic Sports Games qualifying tournament. Scheduled for Saturday, February 26th, this event marks a crucial step towards the prestigious CONADE 2022 National Games.This year’s tournament is particularly significant as it will be fully free for participating athletes. The CDMX Sports Institute (INDEPORTE CDMX) is fully funding the event, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring judokas.
Organized in collaboration with the officially recognized Association of Judokas of Mexico City (Judo CDMX) and sanctioned by the Mexican Judo Federation (FMJ), the tournament will take place at the deportivo Hermanos Galeana in Gustavo A.Madero.
Calling all young martial artists! Athletes aged 9 to 20, both male and female, are invited to showcase their skills and compete for a coveted spot on the CDMX team.
Health and safety remain a top priority. Stringent measures will be in place, including mandatory health screenings and mask-wearing (except during competition).
The stakes are high, as the top performers will earn a place on the CDMX team, representing their city in regional competitions and ultimately vying for glory at the Children’s, Youth and Paralympic Games CDMX, Mexico’s premier sporting event, taking place from June 4th to 7th.
