Coach Julian Nagelsmann had an excuse for Bayern’s weakest game this season. He hadn’t tried them after the 5-0 defeat at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the DFB Cup in October, that would have been bad form. But he wasn’t there, he was quarantined at home in his kitchen.
