“The love and support I received during my recovery was truly remarkable,” Tiago shares. “It solidified my connection to this club and its people.”
Now, at 31, Tiago is a key player for Rayo Vallecano, a team making history by reaching the Copa del Rey semifinals.
“We are one goal away from leveling the tie against Betis and potentially writing the best chapter in the club’s history,” Tiago says with excitement.

“Real Madrid is undoubtedly one of the best teams in the world,” tiago acknowledges. “We need to be at our best, utilize our strengths, and prevent them from having a good day. Our coach, Iraola, believes in our abilities, and I’m determined to contribute with my experience and scoring prowess.”
