Badminton Ravachol player Gabriel Fernández will miss the remainder of the season due to myopericarditis, details of which are not yet known. The player, a fixture in the lineups throughout the league, has been hospitalized since last Sunday after going to the emergency room feeling unwell.
He joins the plague of casualties suffered by the team to face the last two days of the league. The first of them will be on Sunday, at 11:30 am in the A Xunqueira Multipurpose Hall, against CB Oviedo, which, although it is not completing its best season, is one of the greats in the category.
Ravachol Pontevedra faces these last two days of the league at home with their sights set on the playoffs due to remaining in the Division of Honour, so the main objective will be to recover the injured and rest many of the regulars. “We have had a real plague of injuries since the start of the competition, which has been weighing down the team since the first day”, lamented the sports director, Jesús Pereiro.
