Harden will not play the All Star Game;  Jarrett Allen, his replacement

James Harden (32 years old and 1.96 meters) will not be in the All Star Game, which will be played this Sunday, February 20 at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. The new Philadelphia 76ers point guard has decided to decline his presence to recover from hamstring problems that prevented him from playing the last few games with the Brooklyn Nets before being traded before the market closed last Thursday, February 10.

The beard was one of the 14 substitutes chosen by the coaches of the 30 NBA franchises. He was selected by LeBron James in the last position of the draft for the All-Star Game. His former teammate Kevin Durant, the other captain for the All Star, passed him up to six times.

His replacement will be Jarrett Allen.. Chosen by Adam Silver, Commissioner of the League, the center of the Cleveland Cavaliers will thus make his debut in the All Star Game in his fifth season in the NBA. The Californian came to the Cavs from Brooklyn as part of the operation that brought Harden himself to the Brooklyn Nets from the Houston Rockets.

His role in the Ohio franchise is being sublime as part of the Tall Ball alongside rookie Evan Mobley. He is averaging 16.2 points and 11.1 rebounds, both of which are career highs.
