The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended on Monday February 28 to ban Russians and Belarusians from sports competitions, after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. She points out that many athletes from Ukraine are prevented from competing due to the attack of Russian troops on their country.
