Error, pain: Mark Lanegan left this world after being quickly ranked among the pioneers of the genre in question, a category inaugurated in 1990, following the death of Andrew Gold, the singer of Mother Love Bone.
In the eyes of the world, the great Mark has just taken up residence within the walls of a chapel where several prestigious and ramshackle figures affiliated with the Seattle scene also rest, such as Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Layne Staley and Mike Starr (Alice In Chains) or Chris Cornell (Soundgarden). However, grunge is not the first word that comes to mind.
