Mivis finished a respectable second with a final round of 66 (-6), while Icelandic golfer Haraldur Magnus secured third place with a matching 66 (-6), seven strokes behind Ritchie.
This victory marks Ritchie’s second consecutive win and his fourth challenge Tour title, solidifying his position as a rising star in the golfing world.
French Contingent Shines at Durban Country Club
The Jonsson Workwear Open also saw remarkable performances from several French golfers.David Ravetto enjoyed a stellar final round, carding a 65 (-7) that included an eagle, seven birdies, and only two bogeys. This remarkable performance propelled him to a seventh-place finish at -15.
Robin Sciot-Siegrist and Damien Perrier also showcased their skills, finishing in a tie for 18th place at -12. Former European Tour winner Romain Wattel concluded the tournament on a high note, shooting a final round 66 (-6) with five birdies on the back nine to secure 25th place at -11.
Clement Sordet finished in 31st place at -10, while Jeong weon ko, Jérôme Lando-Casanova, and Gary Stal all tied for 38th place at -9. Clement Berardo and Ugo Coussaud rounded out the French contingent, finishing in 48th (-8) and 60th (-5) respectively.
The Challenge Tour remains in South Africa next week, with the mangaung Open taking place in Bloemfontein.

It speaks volumes about his dedication, preparation, and unwavering focus. Annie, even when he faced a slight stumble on the front nine Sunday, he regrouped and finished strong.
It’s impressive, indeed. Now, while Ritchie was pulling away, Christopher Mivis certainly gave it a gallant chase.Closing within five strokes at one point, would you say there was any real possibility of him overtaking Ritchie?
David Edwards:Mivis undoubtedly demonstrated heart and skill throughout the tournament, but Ritchie had established such a commanding advantage that it would have taken something extraordinary for Mivis to close the gap.
Ritchie’s nine-stroke lead going into the final round was virtually insurmountable for anyone, even a player of Mivis’ caliber.
And let’s not forget about the French contingent! Several golfers from France had standout performances this week. David Ravetto’s final round 65 (-7) was a thing of beauty.
David Edwards:Exactly. The French presence at Durban Country Club was quite impressive. Ravetto certainly saved his best for last.That final round 65 propelled him up the leaderboard, showcasing his potential. Robin Sciot-Siegrist and Damien Perrier also deserve recognition for their consistent play.
