Leeds United have a successor to the iconic Marcelo Bielsa. The Argentinian who brought Leeds back from the Premier League after 16 years was kicked out after a string of disappointing results. Last weekend’s pandering against Tottenham proved to be the last straw.
Leeds is now bringing in American Jesse Marsch as a replacement. Marsch was already at the helm of RB Leipzig earlier this season, but he failed to impress there and was shoved aside in December.
Leeds are currently just 2 points above the relegation zone and urgently need a series of better results. Marsch can try to ensure that from next weekend against Leicester City. Marsch signs a contract with Leeds until 2025.
