Hamburg judoka nominated for Grand Slam in Paris

Hamburg (dpa / lno) – The Hamburg women Mascha Ballhaus (TH Eilbeck) and Renée Lucht (HT 16) belong to the German women’s team, which competes at the Judo Grand Slam in Paris at the weekend. Ballhaus fights on Saturday in the class up to 52 kilograms, Lucht on Sunday in the class over 78 kilograms. The draw will take place on Friday. National coach Claudiu Pusa said that he wanted to promote not only experienced fighters but also the younger generation and had put the squad together accordingly. Pusa: “So that we have a healthy mix.”
