Mexico will host the Archery World Cup Final, which will be held in Tlaxcala from October 13 to 16 this year.
It will be the fourth time that a top-level event is organized in Mexican territory, after those held in Mérida 2006, in the capital in 2015 and the 2017 World Cup.
The national representative is a power with several Olympic and world medalists, including Alejandra Valencia, Aída Román and Luis Álvarez.
In the competitions that will be broadcast live to more than 150 countries, the individual, team and mixed categories will be played, in the recurve and compound bow modalities.
This was announced by the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports and the government of Tlaxcala, which will also host the Beach Volleyball World Tour in March.
Receiving the Final of the Archery World Cup represents for the Conade and the government of Tlaxcala to fulfill the objectives of promoting the sport and its benefits to 1.3 million inhabitants in the state, as well as directly supporting national athletes in his route to the 2024 Paris Olympics, it is reported in a statement.
