Léa’s summer schedule is packed with exciting tournaments.She’ll be representing Quebec’s under-19 team in Ontario, competing in the prestigious Canada Cup in British Columbia, and showcasing her skills in Buffalo, New York, New Hampshire, and Fredericton, New Brunswick, at the Canadian Championships. The culmination of her summer will be the Canada Games in the Niagara region.
Following the conclusion of the fastball season, Léa will embark on a new chapter in Florida. She expressed her gratitude for being selected as a recipient of the Planète Courrier scholarship for the second consecutive year, a testament to her dedication and achievements.Léa was also recognized as an athlete-ambassador for Excellence Sportive Montérégie in 2021-2022.
The Quebec foundation for Athlete Excellence, through the 5th edition of the 808 Bonneville Challenge, awarded a total of $216,500 in scholarships to 75 outstanding student-athletes, supported by 27 sponsors and partners. This initiative highlights the importance of supporting young athletes in their pursuit of both athletic and academic excellence.
