Nancy: he steals two sports shoes… from the left foot

It was an unlikely theft of shoes that took place in an Intersport sports store in Nancy. The thief, with a record loaded with 62 convictions, stole two shoes from his left foot. What’s more, five times too big for him! The incurable kleptomaniac still committed a few thefts in January in stores in the center of Nancy. All crazier than each other, like a virtual reality headset remote control at Fnac, when he doesn’t even know what it is. Blame it on a voice ordering him to steal anything.

> Hearing voices did not save him from prison.

Moselle: megalomaniac, he promised work in Luxembourg to his friends

This electrician in a company in Luxembourg made friends believe that the company, which employs him, was recruiting, with fabulous salaries. He went so far as to falsify employment contracts that he had his victims sign. In total, about ten people left their jobs for a mirage in Luxembourg. But then, what was his interest? Nobody really knew how to explain it, especially since he was paying money to his victims from his own bank account.

> “He’s a pathological liar who found himself cornered”: he was given an 8-month suspended prison sentence.

This 71-year-old SNCF retiree from around Lunéville is suspected of having started multiple fires in his street. “I was a volunteer firefighter for more than thirty years and if I had wanted to be an arsonist, I would have done it a long time ago,” he defended himself in court.

> He denied the facts before the Nancy court, but was convicted and will have to move.

Moselle: he sold cocaine … in Kinder eggs

Gluttony sometimes hides beautiful surprises… and less beautiful ones. In Freyming-Merlebach, a 31-year-old man was arrested with a Kinder egg containing six small pouches of cocaine, or 7 grams. The police also found 15 grams of cannabis on him. A forklift driver by profession, the defendant explains that he was “abused and then forced to sell narcotics by two individuals” whom he had never seen before.

> The man is sentenced to six months in prison, including two months in prison

The driver of a BMW, registered in Belgium, who refused priority at the Auchan roundabout in Mont-Saint-Martin, was only 17 years old, and therefore drove without a license. At the police station, the young woman would have indicated that she had taken her mother’s car in order to go buy a present for her dad.

> The young Belgian will be summoned later by the courts.

Saint-Avold: he extorts money with a revolver to buy the Call of Duty video game

The facts took place in Saint-Avold, on January 12. After a few races, the victim gets into his car, in which an individual enters. The 25-year-old man reportedly pulled out “a pellet gun” and asked him for money. He shoots twice at the dashboard of the vehicle and his victim gives him 40 euros. All this to buy a game, Call of Duty, where the principle is to shoot everything that moves.

> “I was no longer taking my treatment. I was not myself,” the man told the court
