The return match will take place in the Yvelines. The most famous window in France will relocate to Poissy on March 12th. After taking up the challenge of the skylight of Evry (Essonne) ten days ago, Karl Olive, the mayor (DVD) of this city of Yvelines, decided to invite its organizers. This will be the first stage of the national tour of this game which was born in the district of the Pyramids, in Évry-Courcouronnes.
A mobile skylight, with the same dimensions as the original, will be installed on the Place de la République, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Participants will have three chances to try to complete the challenge.
“We know the passion for sport which is integrated into the daily life of the city of Poissy” underlines the elected official, who led a mission for the government on the integration of young people through sport.
“The idea is that young people can come and submit CVs”
In addition to the game, the organizers are planning a sound system and entertainment. For Karl Olive, it is also necessary “to combine the useful with the pleasant”. It is for this purpose that services will be integrated for the occasion. To date, a job stand, a health stand and a mentoring stand are planned.
“The idea is that young people can come and submit CVs and be referred by the companies that will be present,” explains the mayor of the city. Beyond that, it is also the “willingness to promote the initiatives of young people in the neighborhood” that motivated the setting up of such an event.
The total cost of the operation is 7,500 euros. For Karl Olive, “we find ourselves in the investment given the impact it can have”. At the end of this day, two finalists will be qualified for a final which will take place in Évry next July.
