louis diaz received all sorts of praise after making his Liverpool debut in Sunday’s 3-1 FA Cup win against Cardiff. The first to recognize his contribution was his coach, Jürgen Klopp, who played it thoroughly for his hiring.
Well, that confidence has now become tangible as the German has included him in the list of 25 players who will play the Champions League, tournament in which the team is classified to the round of 16, where it will face Inter Milan, on February 16 and March 8 next.
The change in the regulations of the tournament allows him to participate with his new club despite having appeared before with Porto de Portugal in the same edition of the competition.
Díaz will occupy the place left vacant by Nathaniel Phillips, on loan to AFC Bournemouth, from the second division of England, and where Jefferson Lerma plays.
These are the ones chosen by Klopp, with Díaz included:
Lista: Alisson, Adrian, Kelleher, Van Dijk, Konate, Gomez, Tsimikas, Robertson, Matip, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Thiago, Milner, Keita, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Elliott, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Minamino, Jota, Diaz, Origi.
Lista B: H. Davies, N. Williams, Norris, Quansah, Chambers, Koumetio, Jones, Dixon-Bonner, Beck, Corness, Morton, Woltman, Bradley, Balagizi, Blair, Cannonier.
