Sports city, La Grande-Motte has a whole range of facilities to flourish all year round in a multitude of activities.
A veritable setting for team sports, athletics and archery, the Sports Park is pampered all year round by City officials. In recent days, the athletics track and baseball field have been rehabilitated with the delivery of over 100 tons of shale and backstop.
On the equipment side, brushes at the exit of the pitches and bicycle racks have been installed. Finally, wire mesh was installed to delimit and protect the areas. The work was carried out by the agents of the sports department. All this is in continuity since in 2021 there was the renovation of the football changing rooms and a new building for those of rugby. The inauguration of this brand new sports complex will take place on May 11, when its new name will be unveiled.
Many associations benefit from these places: the football club (ASLGM), the rugby club (RCGM), the basketball club (Les Albatros), the triathlon club and of course the schools.
