Ten-year-old Maïween is making waves in the judo world. Her passion for the sport ignited at the tender age of four ⁣in Saint-orens, where she first ⁤stepped onto the mat.Under the guidance of her initial instructor, Antoine Evenisse, at the Caraman club in Fourquevaux, Maïween’s⁤ talent quickly became apparent.

Her competitive journey commenced in the Benjamine category, with her first official competition taking place in December. She made an notable debut, securing a commendable fifth-place finish at the Critérium Benjamin.

January saw Maïween participate in ⁢her second Critérium Benjamin, where she faced stiff competition and unfortunately did not place.Undeterred, she bounced back with a strong⁤ performance at the regional tournament in Réalmont, coached by Dorine.Her determination and ‌skill earned her a well-deserved third-place finish.

With the third Critérium Benjamin ‌scheduled for March 19th, Maïween is setting her sights on the top spot. She is eager ⁤to represent her club with pride and claim her‍ first gold medal.
