Ismail: Well, Mubashar is undeniably a talented player. That height alone is a massive asset in the TBL, and at 24, he’s got plenty of room to grow. Mamak are clearly making a serious push for the championship, and bringing in a player like Ali signals their intent.
Sarah: mayor Murat Köse has been very vocal about their ambition, stating they are “strategically bolstering the roster” for a championship run. Do you think this signing is enough to close the gap with the league’s top teams?
Ismail: It’s a step in the right direction,no doubt. But Mamak needs more than just size. They need a well-rounded team with strong chemistry and experienced leadership. Ali is a good building block, but it’ll take more than one player to dethrone the reigning champions.

Ismail: I’m just being realistic, Sarah. The TBL is incredibly competitive. Teams like Fenerbahçe and anadolu Efes have been consistently dominant, and they’re not going to simply roll over. Mamak needs to prove they can compete at that level consistently, not just on paper.
