Five goals in 15 matches and now suddenly five goals in four matches… Sory Kaba has complained in Leuven about having a new striker quiet down. The 26-year-old Guinean has apparently understood his coach’s hint very well.
Marc Brys asked for a new striker for months, but did not get one. But who needs a new striker when the current one scores consistently? “He is very down-to-earth about it. He came here with a big conditional deficit and has worked hard to make up for that,” says Brys in The newspapaer† “He made the biggest profit at the Africa Cup, where he continued to follow our conditional program.”
Of the stories that he is a difficult boy – dragged from Midtjylland – Brys has not seen anything yet. “He is very conscientious,” emphasizes Brys. “If you read those stories from Denmark, I can’t endorse them at all. Now the opposite is true. He blames his coach, who was crying for a new striker for so long.”
