At the beginning of the final quarter, the team with German international Maxi Kleber was still 14 points behind. Kleber did not have a good day, however. He only hit one of five two-point shots. The win cemented Dallas’ fifth place in the Western Conference, while the Warriors remain second.
The Los Angeles Clippers also played a good last quarter with Isaiah Hartenstein. With the 25:18 in the fourth section, they narrowly won 99:98 against the Houston Rockets around point guard Dennis Schröder. Center Ivica Zubac, who made an important block 20 seconds before the end, played a decisive part in the victory.
Hartenstein impressed with twelve points and four rebounds, while Schröder had eleven points and ten assists, a so-called double double with two-digit values in two statistical categories. The Clippers remain eighth in the West, with the Rockets remaining bottom.
There was a clear defeat for the Boston Celtics with Daniel Theis. The Celtics lost 107-128 to the Indiana Pacers. Theis scored five points and five rebounds in 15 minutes of play.
LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers also suffered a sensitive bankruptcy. At home, the Lakers lost 95:132 to the New Orleans Pelicans. With 32 points, James was not only the best pitcher of the game, but also responsible for almost a third of all Lakers points. That leaves him and his team in ninth place in the West, while the Pelicans closed the gap slightly in tenth.
