It is with great satisfaction that the LEA association, in charge of a badminton section since 2005, is now handing over to the Mézin Badminton Club. The latter was created in December 2021 by President Béatrice Chan-Noon-Chung, newly installed in the Mézinais, the office consists of Emmanuel Vitoux as secretary, and Benjamin Tancrez-Beamont as treasurer. So that this sporting activity can continue in the commune of Mézinaise, the LEA association, in agreement with the municipality, leaves today to the new club, its time slot from 6:30 p.m. at the Louis-Barranger multipurpose hall. This change is a natural follow-up to what the LEA association had implemented for several years for the badminton section, namely: the implementation of a calendar of actions and activities to integrate its members to Mezin life. It is a successful bet for the integration of people and also for the instigator of this new entity.
Whether in leisure or in competitions, the Mézinais can now return to the net. As the club is now affiliated with the French Badminton Federation, club members will now be able to participate in the various activities, events and meetings organized by the latter. We wish a bright future for this new club, like what the badminton section of LEA has been for all these years, which through its results, for sure, will join the sporting wealth of the town of Mézin.
