Michel: It’s my pleasure to be here.
Moderator: You’ve clearly dedicated a significant portion of your life to archery. What sparked your initial interest in this unique sport?
Michel: My journey began in Saint-Étienne. It wasn’t love at first sight, but something about the precision, the focus required, and the quiet intensity of archery resonated with me. It became more than just a hobby; it was a passion that grew stronger with each shot.

Michel: Seeing the change in these young athletes is incredibly rewarding. witnessing them discover a love for archery, build confidence as their skills improve, and learn valuable life lessons like discipline and perseverance – that’s what truly drives me.
Moderator: Its clear you find immense fulfillment in this role. But let’s be honest, volunteer work, especially for a sports club, can be demanding. What keeps you going, especially when faced with challenges?
Michel: Certainly, there are times when it’s demanding. Organizing events, fundraising, and ensuring everything runs smoothly takes a lot of effort. But the smiles on the kids’ faces, the sense of community we’ve built, and knowing we’re making a positive impact on their lives – that’s what recharges me and keeps me motivated.

Michel: It’s absolutely essential. A supportive community provides not only volunteers and resources but also creates a network of encouragement for the young archers. It fosters a sense of belonging, which is vital for their growth, both on and off the range.
Moderator: That’s a powerful point. Now, looking ahead, what are your aspirations for the Archers of the Young Loire?
Michel: We want to continue expanding our reach, attracting more young people to the sport, and providing them with the best possible coaching and facilities.
