Despite the health crisis, the 2021 edition of the Telethon ended in great success in the town of Monistrol-sur-Loire.
Indeed, the tidy sum of €7,828.50 was collected, below recent balance sheets which ranged between €8,000 and €9,500.
This amount remains satisfactory and reflects the commitment of volunteers, loyal associations: hiking organized with a masterful hand by Espace et Course, Fitness Energy Monistrol, the petanque club, young firefighters, the archery club, the tennis club; Lucien Soyère with his photos, the dinner dance with the Poulakis orchestra (which did not welcome the expected number of people), the bingo. “We also have loyal merchants and industrialists, not to mention the Léonard-de-Vinci high school, the Lucie-Aubrac school and the municipality.”
This check for €7,800 was given to Laura Chaniol, departmental representative of the Telethon.
