The big interdepartmental judo tournament of Lourdes will take place tomorrow at the Espace Robert-Hossein. The start of this meeting is scheduled from 9.30 a.m. with the chicks category and will end around 5.30 p.m. with the mini-chicks category: “This interclub meeting is open to the judo awakening, mini-chicks, chicks and youngest and should bring together between 300 and 400 judokas, from clubs in the Hautes-Pyrénées department, but also from clubs in neighboring departments”, underlines Jacques Dupont, loyal and dedicated volunteer of the Lourdes judo club.
After the last fights, the awarding of prizes by category and the presentation of the trophy to the winning club will take place between 5.30 p.m. and 6 p.m. It is with great pleasure that the president, the supervisors and the members of the Lourdais dojo club will welcome the public during this very renowned interdepartmental tournament. Parents and friends are always happy to come and encourage all these young people passionate about this sport, judo. This combat sport develops both moral values and the mastery of a technique. All of these values are taught along the journey of a long life path.
