The Spaniard won the semifinals of the repeat of the final of the Australian Open at the Acapulco hard court tournament against Russian Daniil Medvedev 6:3,6:3. Nadal celebrated his 14th victory this season and will play for his 91st title in the final on Saturday. His surprise opponent is Britain’s Cameron Norrie, who eliminated higher-ranked Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 6-4.
