I have a deep respect for what he’s accomplishing.
Interviewer: Some argue that DeRozan’s reliance on mid-range jump shots, a shot often considered less efficient than threes, hinders his overall game. What are your thoughts on this criticism?
Reggie Miller: I’ll tell you something,I built a Hall of Fame career on mid-range jumpers.Don’t let anyone tell you that shot is “inefficient.” It takes touch, it takes confidence, and DeRozan possesses both in spades. Players like him and [Kevin] Durant,they make that shot an art form.
