Philadelphia, Feb. 14 – (Adnkronos) – James Harden has not yet recovered from his hamstring injury. According to the Philadelphia 76ers, the 32-year-old, former Brooklyn Nets, is still struggling with rehabilitation from that muscle problem and will therefore not participate in the All Star Game scheduled for February 20. His vacant position (and probably also that of Zach LaVine, also struggling with a knee problem) will be assigned to an Eastern Conference player chosen by commissioner Adam Silver: the two most accredited names are Jarrett Allen, Cleveland center Cavaliers hosts in the weekend of the stars and never called up in his career, and the Toronto Raptors winger Pascal Siakam, already All-Star in 2020. Harden’s debut with the new Sixers jersey (of which he will wear the number 1, abandoning his beloved 13 retired in honor of Wilt Chamberlain) is then postponed until after the All-Star Weekend break.
