Now, the packers finally taking the field in London is a big deal. What do you think took them so long?
TD: I imagine it’s a combination of factors. Dorseconcern about disrupting the traditional home schedule, logistical challenges related to travel and time zones, and perhaps even prioritizing their historic rivalry games.
However, with the global landscape evolving, even iconic franchises like the Packers need to adapt. It’s a smart move for them to capitalize on the London market.
Do you think this is just the beginning, Coach? Will we see more international games in the future, perhaps even a permanent franchise overseas?
TD: absolutely! I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more international games pop up on the schedule.A permanent franchise overseas is a possibility too, especially in a market like london, which has proven its dedication to American football.
