Gamers are looking forward to some of the biggest Nintendo Switch releases to date after the first showing of the Nintendo Direct of 2022.
Last night, Nintendo unveiled some major new game announcements, including Fire Emblem, Mario Strikers, Chrono Cross, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and even the release of the blockbuster No Man’s Sky for its handheld console.
Fans have gone wild for the announcement of Nintendo Switch Sports, a sequel to the hit Wii Sports series in which gamers use motion controllers to play virtual bowling, tennis, soccer, badminton, and more.
Perhaps the biggest news, though, is that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is set to add a whopping 48 new racetracks throughout the year.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ‘Booster Course Pass’ will be available for free to Nintendo Switch Online Expansion members, or can be purchased separately for £22.49 from the eShop.

The massive open universe game No Man’s Sky is also coming to the platform, though many gamers are confused about how the console will handle its high technical demands once it launches this summer.
